Omar Hallsson came to the United States in 1988. He is a master chef having achieved that distinction in his native Iceland where he graduated from hotel and restaurant management school in 1971. Chef Omar has catered for the Prime Minister and the government of Iceland, as well as served many European dignitaries, including the Queen of Denmark, King of Sweden, King of Norway, etc.

In 1992 he purchased and refurbished the Castle Inn and opened the doors for business. For the past 14 years he has greeted his guests to the 80 year old landmark where diners may relax in one of two fireside rooms and be treated to continental dining at its best including flaming desserts done at the table side.

Banquet Rooms are available for weddings, funerals, graduation parties, etc. The Castle Inn can acommodate 230 people for catering!!
